BUSY TRAIL DAY(s)!LPFA has been busy! And between scheduled projects and post-storm trail sweeps, we may have had our busiest back-to-back trail days ever last week. Over Friday and Saturday, LPFA Trail Crew and Volunteers worked on: Pothole Trail, Horn Canyon Trail, Wheeler Gorge Nature Trail, Cold Spring Trail, Hot Springs Trail, Buena Vista Trail, Romero Trail and Tunnel Trail. Plus a trash cleanup on East Camino Cielo with @iv.srfrdr. 2 days, 8 trails, and a cleanup!A big thank you to our volunteers, Trail Crew, our partners at @montecitotrailsfoundation and @runners4publiclands, and support from @lospadresnationalforest and @cityofsb. WHEELER NATURE TRAIL, FEB 21 & 28Join LPFA this Saturday on the Wheeler Gorge Nature Trail! This will be our third weekend project on this great trail just up Hwy 33 from Ojai this year. We will be working on some steps, filling ruts, and brushing. Can’t make it Saturday? SUPER SAN YSIDRO SUNDAYLPFA volunteers had a great day on the San Ysidro Trail last Sunday, February 8th. We brushed, widened tread and restored drains just in time for the rain a few days later. A huge thank you to the volunteers who joined us, the @montecitotrailsfoundation for supporting the project and the @backpackingbaristas for caffeinating our volunteers. If you haven’t met the Baristas on trail yet, be sure to do so soon….It’s Trail Workin’ Season, and we have more projects on the way.
